Hello everyone,

My build is all done but every time I turn on the power switch, I need to press the "START" button on my motherboard before it starts to work. I would prefer for it to turn everything on when I press the power switch. Attached I have a picture of what the ASUS Q-Connector looks like:

I am using the : Asus Maximus VII Hero

Typically You leave that power switch on unless you need it off - like when adding or removing anything on the pc's insides.
With that switch on, you turn the pc on & off via the power switch on the front of the case. Please note that your pc is never truly completely off, there always a little voltage that watches for when you press the power switch again and sometime even provides usb power...

You may find a setting in your bios that tells the pc what to do after power or AC loss. Setting this to 'full on' may work they way you want it to but it depends on the power supply.

The power switch on the power supply. What I mean is everytime I turn on my system, The Start and Reset button glow on my motherboard. I have to press the start button in order to start/fully run my system. Thanks for the help!
