My monitor setup has been working alright, with all monitors running at their native resolutions until i've had to unplug it all, remove my computer from it's old room and set up in a new room, plugging everything back in my central monitor, a 144hz 1080p monitor connected to the GPU via display port is not recognized by either windows 10 or nvidia control panel as being able to support 1080p video, instead being limited to 1366 x 768p or 1440 x 900p.

Initially I tried single monitor, dual monitor, and three monitor setups in the original sequence, rebooting with each plugged, unplugged, and the combinations, uninstalled my graphics driver, rebooted and reinstalled, trying to update my monitor's drivers, changing the display port out of my PC it was using, switching the DVI cables I was using for my secondary monitors to no avail. uninstalled my nvidia drivers and uninstalled the GPU before restarting it and re-installing the drivers.

Next up I tried changing the resolution in Nvidia control panel, finding the maximum and recommended the resolution to be 720p. From there I attempted to create a custom resolution of 1920 x 1080p with my central monitor selected, input 1920 by 1080 as the height and width, and 144hz as the refresh rate and tested it, which Nvidia control panel claims it did, however, it hasn't shown the new custom resolution or the native resolution.

Out of ideas at this point and very tired.

My rig:

Win10 Pro 64-bit

Intel I5 4690k @ 3.5ghz
16.0GB dual channel DDR-3
Asus Z97-K mobo
GTX 970 (gigabyte) 4gb Vram
119gb boot drive SSD, x2 256gb ssd, 500gb recovered laptop drive, 2tb hdd.

Monitor setup:

Primary: AOC 2460G4 1080p (running at 1440 x 900 @ 60hz) (Display port, drivers installed and up to date)
Secondary Dell 1704FPT 1280 x 1024 (DVI connection)
Secondary: Generic Dell 768x1024p (DVI connection)

All hooked into the I/O port of my GPU.

Thanks in advance.

Can you go into the monitor's menu, in the "OSD Setup" section, and make sure DP Capability is set to 1.2?

While not the answer exactly, your comment did prompt me to retry plugging the display port cable in again, and it's solved the issue, the monitor is now operating at 1080p. Maybe one of the contacts wasn't fitting properly or something.

Thank you and Glenwing for helping me.
