[SOLVED] Neo Eco Gold vs CX Gray

Hey guys, super quick question:
What is a better PSU, Antec Neo Eco gold or Corsair CX (gray label)?
I know they're pretty close, but whats the difference between them?

Looking to upgrade my EVGA GD to something better quality. Dont feel comfortable using the GD when i upgrade to RTX 2060. want something better quality, so thats why im wondering.

They're both LLC with DC to DC.

Antec is Gold efficiency. CX is Bronze. Antec is semi-modular. CX is non-modular.

That's about it, I think.

was leaning towards antec in the first place. Unless i can find a CX for a good amount less than the neo eco gold, i'll go ahead and get it. Thanks!

Obviously CX should be cheaper. But if the Antec is the same price or even within < $10, I think it's a no brainer.

Are they that much better than the EVGA 600watt GD? That GD can't handle a RTX 2060?

It could, its just mediocre quality. Gonna get a little better quality one, and use the GD in my next PC flip (which will have a 780 TI, so a 600w will be a good choice)

The GD600w and Antec are built on the same exact platform.

I had a GD600w powering a 2600k and 1070 just fine.

So you don't trust it with an RTX 2060, but a 780 ti is fine ......

But if you just want something better fine as well, but why look at the CX or the Antec, why not something really better like RM(x) or TXM or Focus ...

i know it would work with a 2060, id be fine using it on a 2060
But i need a 600w for this next flip, so this is just kind of an excuse for me to get a better quality PSU and use this old one in another place where i can make money, if that makes sense

But assuming its the newer Andyson based GD600 and not the FSP based one, the GD is very similar to the Antec Neo Eco gold and based on the same platform.

It should handle a 2060 just fine.

This GD is tier C
CX and neo eco gold, tier B -- some of the best units in tier B actually

That is your first mistake.

Is it possible they may be referring to the older models? I believe the older GD550 and GD650 were FSP based and not amazing.

You find the 2019 model under tier B as well as tierC, probably has to do with who it was made by.

Yeah the "V" is in tier C for whatever reason.

There's 2 different 2019 models, one with a V at the end and one with a B
B is better than V

I believe the better model is Andyson and the worse one is FSP. I can't find any reviews of the unit, so I don't know how they were able to rate it.
