Hi

I bought 2 Lamia T-1001 tablets to have at work. As an cheap way to let my coworkers program things on the fly.

Now i have a problem. The software i use requires .net framework 3,5 and i cant seem to get it to install.

Error: 0x800F0906 when i try to install

i have tried all the things i have found.

1: trying to use a offline installer (did the same thing as a normal web install)
2: tried installing with a program that pulls the .net from a windows iso. that didn't work
3. i have tried to install in from the "turn Windows features on or off" menu. same outcome.
4. i tried to uninstall some updates that interfered with .net 3.5 but i cant uninstall updated for some reason.
5. i read somewhere that group policy had something to do with it aswell but i cant get in to that menu.

So do anyone have any ides on what to do?

Windows 8 has the .NET Framework 4.5 built-in and you can optionally activate .NET Framework 3.5 using the Windows Features panel and then the computer will want to access to Microsoft servers on the Internet to get the binaries so make sure they are connected to the net before you begin.

Google couldn't find any specs on lamia t-1001 so I hope its not running table windows 8.1 RT

well i answed that you can install .net 3.5 and that its not installed from start. but my problem still is that i cant install it in any way that i try. i wonder if there is a problem with my windows distrubition.

or if there is a problem with my rights in the computer.

I cant seem to figure that out:)
