Are you asking how to configure a static IP for a device on your network or how to configure a static IP for your network itself, or rather the IP assigned to you by your ISP. If you can provide a little more information about your home setup it would be appreciated.

As far as getting NAT 2 setup, if you can provide me with the make and model of your router, I should be able to walk you through it. What problem are you currently experiencing with your NAT setup as it is now? - Sub
