Netflix App for Windows 10 is behaving strangely

To begin with, I wasn't sure whether or not this belongs in Windows 10 or in Apps General Discussion. I apologize if it's in the wrong place, I imaging a moderator could move it if need be.

Since I've recently ditched Comcast Cable TV (prices are way too high), I've moved to Netflix and other online streaming services. I am very pleased with the service that Netflix offers, but the app on one of my Windows 10 machines is behaving strangely. When in full screen mode (the bar up top does not show), sometimes the volume will fade away and the app will minimize itself, revealing my desktop. When I click on the app on the Taskbar, nothing happens, I'm still at the desktop. If I put my mouse over the app on the Taskbar and wait for the preview of the screen to show up, I can then click on the preview and the app shows itself again. Only to do this again in an hour or two.

That's my issue, my questions are below.
1) I've posted this in the reviews for the app in the Windows Store, will this be enough to get the developers' attention?

Here's what I've done on my end so far:
1) I've checked to make sure no malicious looking processes are running.
2)I've uninstalled and then re-installed all updates (for Windows) from within the past week.
3) I've run anti virus scans from Avast and Bit Defender and also done a full scan with MalwareBytes. Do note that I did not have Avast and Bit Defender installed at the same time.
4) I've uninstalled the app, followed by a restart, then re-installed it.

The behavior of the app has not changed.

All opinions and suggestions are welcome (within reason of course)

Solution
Press your Windows key on keyboard or left click Windows logo in bottom left
Left click the cog wheel(Settings) above Power icon.
Click System
Click Power & Sleep > Set Screen and Sleep to NEVER
Click Additional Power Settings link > this takes you to Power Options(also in control panel)
Check the Balanced Plan and then click the Change Plan Settings link
Set these two drop-downs to Never
Click the Change Advanced Power Settings link
Start changing these drop downs to your desired performance(disabling sleep and low power states etc...)

See if that works for you.

Opening the Start Menu and typing Power, I'm presented with Power Options, which is set to High Performance. I assume this is what you're referring to.

When the app minimizes, the audio fades out in an effect lasting about half a second, then there is no audio. It's like the app is minimizing itself, like it thinks I'm opening another window on top of it.

To get the basics out of the way:
Intel i3 540 (stock clocks and cooler)
Dell Motherboard
8GB DDR3 1333MHz from SuperTalent (found it at a yard sale, works fine)
GTX 760 ti (OEM)
Seasonic M12ii 520w Bronze EVO Edition

Nothing goes above 65C even while stress testing.

Windows 10 is version 1607, build 14393.447. I've never had problems with updates or drivers on this machine.
