Netflix causing loss in internet connection, only on one PC and one WiFi network.

Hello all; thank you in advance for any support you may provide.

I'm having problems streaming Netflix on my PC. Sometimes the website itself will not load. Other times it will, but I cannot stream video. In both instances I immediately lose internet connectivity. At this point windows shows that I am still connected to the wireless network, however I cannot ping the router. If I disconnect from and reconnect to the wireless network, everything is working again, with the exception of Netflix. I have no trouble streaming Netflix through the same network on my android phone. I also have no problems if I connect to the WiFi on my cable modem.

I am on a PC running windows 7. The router is a Netgear R6100. I will do my best to provide whatever other information might help you help me solve this odd problem.

This just started happening about 5 or 6 days ago. I have already gone through the standard reboot of the PC, router, and modem.
 
Solution
It sounds like a driver issue to me, perhaps broken by a recent windows automatic update. Download and install the wifi driver from the hardware manufacturer's web site rather than letting windows handle the update for you.
