I currently have the LG 24UD58 4K monitor, i7 7700K and GTX 1080.
Why can I only watch Netflix in 4K when I connect to HDMI? When I switch to DisplayPort 1.2, it removes the "Ultra HD 4K" tag NetFlix puts on movies and TV shows when you have a 4K screen, and I can only stream at a maximum of 6000~ MBPS on it. On HDMI it shows the Ultra HD tag and allows me to stream at 16,000 MBPS.
I can't find any info regarding why this happens, but I would rather use DisplayPort as to me the colors look more vibrant and the black levels are darker on it compared to HDMI.
