Netflix VPN detection on Smart TV

Hi everybody
I use an ASUS router and run the merlin firmware so I can set a VPN for exclusive devices only and not all of them. I set a VPN for my LG smart TV to get US Netflix. This used to work just fine till a few days ago. Now Netflix detects a VPN when using the TV. It doesn't detect it on a PC or a phone. Does somebody have an idea on how i could fix the problem?

ah yes ... i know that some vpn services state that getting usa netflix now outside the usa can only be done through an internet browser (not tv app). sorry!
i just read that about 10 mins ago ...
