Netgear DGN2200 Issues

I've been having issues with my router when ever i set it to a static ip it will work fine for around 2 says then it will say it cant connect to the dns, any idea whats causing it and is there a way to fix it! Thanks!

Works for "around 2" what?

What other devices do you have in your network: cable modem, modem/routers, other routers....?

How are they all connected.

Can you provide a more specific error message?
