NETGEAR Extender having DNS problems

I have the WN3000RP for about 3 years now, it has recently started giving me DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NO_INTERNET on any device I try to access the internet on, I have tried both wireless and ethernet and I have factory reset it.

Can anyone help or do I need a new extender?

You may have a bad extender but I would try this. Does everything work fine when connected to your main wireless router? If not then thats where the issue is. But since my sense is you already confirmed that I would try changing your DNS server in the router to say Googles DNS servers. They are 8.8.8.8 8.8.4.4 Repair the extender to the router and see how it goes. If that doesnt work then yes I think your extender has failed sorry to say.
