Question Netgear hotspot issues on 4G

I have a Netgear Unite Express 779S AT&T hotspot which I got new last summer. Having an issue now where when the hotspot displays "AT&T 4G" devices connected to the hotspot can't get online. The only time I've been able to get online is when the hotspot displays 4G LTE.

If I browse to the hotspot's admin. page with a connected device, it says "connected to internet" under status. But no device can access the internet.

I notice in the "Mobile Broadband" settings accessed through the admin. page, under "Network Mode" it lists "Automatic," "LTE Only", and "3G Only" I've tried all three of those settings, nothing works.

Is this device unable to operate properly on 4G network? Is there any workaround?
