Netgear n300 to ap mode help

So i dont know if this is possible or i need a different appliance, But I have a Netgear N300 which can be put into ap mode, i can do that but here is the problem, where its going i cannot run a cable, can i use AP mode via wireless and still use the switch for my other hardwired device as i cannot install a wireless card on them....or do i need buy something else

Which Netgear N300 model is it?

What you are trying to do is use it as a wireless bridge rather than an access point. An access point connects back to the main router via wired connectivity and provides WIFI. A wireless bridge connects back to the main router by WIFI and provides 1 or more wired connections.

You can search for your model number with "wireless bridge" to find instructions in configuring it.
