Netgear nighthawk x6 vs dlink 890l ac 3200

Solution
They use exactly the same chips internally for the processor and radios so performance will be almost the same. Better will mostly be a personal choice of which router software you like better or which you think has better customer service.

Both likely are a waste of your money.

These use 2 5g radios which means to use this device effectively you need to find a way to balance you users over both radios. The largest issues is that this router uses almost all the available radio channels to do this. This almost guarantees that you will conflict with neighbors. So you may not be able to actually use both radio because there are not enough channels without interference.

In addition the on the 2.4g band they are using 600mhz encoding. This is a protocol that is non part of the official standard and many end device manufactures do not support it.

Besides many cellphones and tablets only have 2 antenna so they can not use many of the fancy feature routers have.

Do not fall into the marketing trap of thinking bigger numbers is always better. Really decide if you will benefit. You have to look into how many devices you have and what they actually support. Also you need to look at your internet speed. If you have a connection under say 100m you will not run faster on 802.11ac you will be limited by you internet connection.
