Netgear router R6400 Drops internet on Wi-Fi

About a month or so ago my router started dropping the internet on its Wi-Fi both 2.4 GHz and the 5 GHz. I've tried several things to make it stop, I have tested and all wired connections stay up 24/7. I ignored the problem up till a week ago when the router started putting out speeds of .2 Mbps on the Wi-Fi (we pay for 50.) At that time i looked into the problem more any wired connection had 45-50 Mbps. I ended up resetting the router at that point. It ran good for a day and we are back to dropping i changed the Fragmentation length, CTS/RTS threshold, i have a short preamble. I have the mode set to the lowest possible (54 and 289) both are at max power, and have set channels. which are 06 and 161. Both have security (WPA2-PSK [AES].) I can provide more information if requested.

If you are still having this problem it sounds like the router is going bad.
You reboot it and it works for about a day? It could be over heating or you have some interference.

its still cold after a few days of being on and it wouldnt be interference because it worked fine for a month or so. it could just be going bad.
