I don't know is this game played anymore, but I found my old cards
some days ago and created some decks. Now, after few games I'm annoyed
with one card, which seems to be broken (at least from my poin of
view, I haven't bought very many cards, maybe 1 starter and 20
boosters). And the card is agenda Viral Breeding Ground.
What experienced players think of this card, and how runner can fight
against it? What I have tried is to try to steal it from HQ or R&D
before corp manages to install it. It is very hard because corp can
install it very easily (it doesn't need any ice protecting, because
runner cannot steal it unless he has already 5+ agenda points or no
programs in play).

For give but I am NOT at home with my cards in front of me...
BUT Microtech Hard-Drive helps...
And there is ONE card with a french name...
it is a program, it allows you to cancel the un-installation of a program...

Other than those? Nope...
That is ONE nasty card. Fun tho if you're corporate!
Where do you live? I am ALWAYS looking for Netrunner players...
None locally for me...

Viral Breeding Ground has the same drawback as the other ambush agenda --
it doesn't *help* the Corporation if he scores it.

You've answered your own question. If the runner swipes it from a central
fort, it's two agenda points without fuss. If it's installed, and the
runner steals it as his seventh point, game over. Only when the runner is
forced to return programs to his hand is it a setback, and only if the
programs are expensive would it be really painful. I'd imagine in a worst
case, where the runner had enough MU to have six programs installed, and a
VBG with three advancement counters caused him to return all six to his
hand, that even that would be acceptable if he could afford to reinstall
an icebreaker or three.

I'm not as dead as NetRunner, but I am getting a lot older. I can't read
the text on the cards so well anymore.

I've posted to NetRunner-L about 10 times this year.

Yeah, well, I keep paying that bit to Access through Alpha, so they
haven't found me yet, but I think they're still looking. =)

Most of the agenda cards help the corp very little. And those which
help have very bad cost/agenda point ratio, like subsidiary office
(i'm not sure if i remember the name right). So, it's not that bad to
have agenda without any benefit outside the agenda points.

My runner deck is using Mystery boxes to get out expensive Programs
like A.I. Boon or Cloak, so Viral Breeding ground hurts it alot :)
We played with my brother about six games (my brother doesn't have
cards, so we played all games with my decks), and runner won only one
game. And in that game corp didn't draw any Viral Breeding Grounds (4
in a deck) until runner got 5 agenda points. Maybe some other runner
deck works better.

I don't have the card, and I had to check it from a spoiler list :).
Seems like a strong card. It gives you a bonus action if your deck can
use it properly (gain benefit from having lots of cards in hand.)
There may be danger of running out of cards ? Well I'm just a newbie
:)

That's just my way of thinking. Always find the easier way :/ In every
game I try to exploit cards/rules that seem to be broken.
