Network Activity Freezes Windows 10

I upgraded to Windows 10 when it initially came out (twice, since the 1st upgrade didn't install nicely) and have had relatively few issues since.
About a week or two ago I started to notice that if I was using the internet or local intranet, my PC would lock up. Either YouTube, or Netflix, or even steaming a movie from my server in my house.
Sometimes it would unfreeze in about a minute... sometimes it would never come back and require a hard reboot.
Event Viewer shows two Warning messages concurrent with this issue:

Event ID 27
Intel(R) Ethernet Connection I217-V
Network link is disconnected.
&
Event ID 27
Intel(R) I211 Gigabit Network Connection
Network link is disconnected.

I have tried:
    1) Swapping out network cable
2)Changing ports on mobo (it has a dual NIC)
    3)Chaning port or router
    4)Updated Driver
when running 'Lan driver ver:20.2' autorun.exe file from the ASRock website locks my PC, and I have to hard reboot. I had to update the driver by going into Device Manager and manually install it.
    5) Ran SFC /scannow and came up with no issues
6)Check disk came up with no errors either
7)Ran Intel's 'Intel Driver Update Utility Installer.exe' but it didn't recognize any Intel drivers on the computer

System specs are in my signature...

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

two issues...can be the driver if windows over wrote the intel driver with a ms driver. download the newest driver from intel then uninstall the driver and older software and install the newest intel software. the other issue can be if both the intel port and wifi usb dongle is plugged in. try turning off the one your not using.

Ok!
after uninstalling both drivers (and one of them prompted me to delete some extra driver software) I was able to run the driver install utility.
Which has always frozen in the past. So far so good. No issues, but the two 'Warning' errors show up in Event Viewer from when I turned the PC on.
They seem to show up at ever reboot, which is a little unnerving.
