Question Network Adapter Connectivity Problems

So, I just purchased a new internal network adapter, a TP-Link AC1300, to replace the USB internet dongle on my PC. Unfortunately, I've been having mixed results with it after installation. Some days it connects perfectly fine, with speeds far higher than the original- followed the next day by it refusing to connect to my home wifi at all, or even being invisible in the adapter menus.

I'm using Windows 10 64bit, and the rest of my system specs are as follows:
Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 2600 (6-Core) (Boost Up to 3.9 GHz)
Motherboard: ASUS / MSI (AMD B350M Chipset) (Up to 2x PCI-E Devices)
System Memory: 16GB Corsair 2666MHz
Power Supply: 600W Digital Storm Performance Series (Supports up to an NVIDIA GTX 1080 GPU)
Storage Set 1: 1x Storage (2TB Seagate / Toshiba)
Storage Set 2: - 500GB SSD Samsung
Graphics Card(s): 1x GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB
Sound Card: Integrated Motherboard Audio
Virus Protection: Windows Defender Antivirus (Built-in to Windows 10)

Also, I am not the Admin for my home network, I can only affect my own setup, and I have only a limited background in computers- I can follow a hardware issue, but coding and software are beyond me.

If anyone has any ides for how get this adapter working, I'd be very grateful.
