Hello,
I just installed a new motherboard and cpu into my pc.
I have both ethernet and the wifi adapter plugged into the pc, I did a fresh install of windows.
I installed drivers from asus’s website for lan and wifi onto usb then extracted then ran the asussetup file
I have no internet connection, there is something wrong with the drivers but at this point I just don’t know what to do
A bunch of my drivers have the yellow triangle on them here is pic:

reinstall windows, you have a bunch of missmatching drivers. Its the only way to fix it.

Nvm, I see you did already

did you install Armory crate?

have you run windows update? it should find a lot of the drivers
I do not know how to install armory crate/don't know what it is.
Can I find it in the bios?
I need to be connected to the internet to use windows update.

My ethernet port and cords are fine, as well as the wifi adapter.
Only reason I cannot get internet connection is because of missing and or not properly working drivers.
I have tried so many things at this point.
- Network reset.

- Downloading Lan and Wifi drivers from asus website for my motherboard onto usb, then extracting onto desktop
then attempting to run AsusSetup which makes a window pop up for a split second then goes away.
So I am thinking that it is silent installing rather than me going through the whole menu.

However after restart still nothing

I have tried the troubleshooter as well which still tells me that there are no drivers installed for my network adapters despite downloading and running the AsusSetup extracted from the zip file from manufacturer.

My Network adapters do not even show up in device manager

I installed windows via the official windows 10 install usb drive that I still have.
Windows version needs to be updated
and quite frankly the only thing that I need is to be able to connect to the internet and then I can easily just download/update the rest of the drivers right?

Thanks for answering!

Install Intel chipset drivers first (before any other drivers).
Then install lan and wifi drivers.
There is no need to use any USB for driver installation.

Roger that. I'll Try it, Thank you.
I thought that with no internet connection I had to use a usb to get the files onto my computer?
At least that was my thought process since the drivers didn't install on their own like normal
Just realized I put a typo in my original post, sorry about that.
I have no internet connection because of the driver issue which is why I need to install onto usb

Oh right.
If you have no network access, then somehow drivers need to be copied onto the computer.

I think, this confused me. You said - you "installed" drivers onto USB.
But there was no installing onto USB, you just copied drivers archive there.

Anyway - install chipset drivers.

Yes! I just didn't say copy my bad haha.

So I am pretty sure the chipset installed, not sure how to check that.
The program promped to restart pc and I followed
Then I went to go install the LAN and WIFI drivers again and I had the same result as last time.

After opening the copied over files onto my desktop and extracting all
I opened the LAN driver folder that was extracted and clicked on AsusSetup Run as Administrator.
The window said do you want to make changes-yes.
Then after clicking yes nothing happened no window popped upor anything, is that okay?
I figured it might just be a silent install, but I am not sure.
One network adapter shows up now

Try loading lan drivers manually.
In device manager
right-click on Ethernet controller,
choose update drivers,
specify drivers location.
It says
Windows was unable to install your ethernet controller

windows could not find drivers for your device

All three extracted folders for the drivers are on the desktop
I moved the zip files to downloads folder
I downloaded all three from the exact same link that you also sent me.

Unless those weren't the correct drivers? Or they just didn't install in the first place?

I made sure to switch the install OS to windows 10 first before Downloading

I also just tried to pick from availible list of drivers on my computer, and I know it is an intel ethernet 2.5gigabit connection but I am not sure what exact driver to install.

Dangerous to install one that I think is the right one?
I will also look up to online right now which is the right driver, and I will see if it is on the list

Did you specify exact location for drivers?
or you just pressed "Search automatically for drivers" ?
I pressed browse and specified the exact location of the drivers on the desktop.
The location was already specified as well, but I did it just to be sure.
Do I need to specify the location of the AsusSet up file?

When I copied the zip folders over onto the usb
I got a message that told me that I would lose the properties.
Would I need to extract on a separate machine and then extract onto usb then try my luck?

Thank you for trying to help me I really appreciate it.
I have an overnight schedule due to job, so I just woke up.
