I got a new school computer today, and the adapter isn't working.

I get code 43, (Driver or hardware related issues)

Under device managers, I had the Realtek RTL8188e PCI-E adapter. When I uninstalled and then scanned for hardware changes, it will start working for about 3 seconds. I can see networks near me but by the time I can connect it disables again back into code 43.

I bought a flash drive and updated the drivers.. Oddly enough, under device manager, the name is now "1x1 b/g/n Wireless LAN PCI Express Half Mini Card Adapter"

I can still uninstall and reinstall to get it to work for a few seconds with the name like that but man. I'm completely lost now. Please help!

Thank you !

EDIT: Oh and one more thing, When I try and connect with ethernet I connect to "Unidentified Network, Limited". Im not concerned about using ethernet ever, but if that somehow helps then there you go ;P

Yep its a nightmare! Haha, Yes, I can connect on all other computers and devices in the house

Unfortunately no, My gaming computer is broken and thats the only one I would be able to test it on. This card is also really weird compared to what I'm used.. Its on the motherboard instead of in a pci-e slot. This is honestly my first time seeing it like this xD

It is actually a desktop, one of the wire goes to a black box on the back of the computer. I was thinking about faulty wiring and was going to look at them.

And no. I try using the internet and it still gives me the message that I'm not connected

And that wasn't a photo I took, that just looks similar to mine. Sorry for any confusion xD
