Question Network adapter not working.

So my network adapter is the Realtek RTL8811AU and it stopped working yesterday. I went to my device manager and in the USB category it says device has stopped working because it has reported problems (code 43). I assumed this was a driver issue and so I tried to update the driver but windows keeps telling me that I have the most up to date driver (6/21/2006) which is incorrect. So I can’t install any of my new drivers and I can’t connect to the internet to automatically update what do I do to fix the problem?

I would try it in another device. If it works there, then it definitely is just a driver issue. If not, then something has probably gone wrong with it.

I have a prebuilt pc and there’s like a protector thing around it so I don’t know how to remove it

Oh, this isn't a usb nic, so you really can't remove it. I would call best buy about the problem since it's their machine and probably still under warranty.

Nah I bought it over 2 years ago it’s past warranty

I'd call them anyways. It's amazing what sometime you'll get for free.
