Network Adapter Probelm

Just reinstalled windows and am now getting this message: The Realtek Network Controller was not found. If Deep Sleep Mode is enabled Please Plug the Cable.

This wasn't a problem before I put in a new SSD and installed windows on it.

My motherboard is an Asus m5A97 r2.0

I downloaded the newest driver from the asus website. when that didn't work i tried the previous one which is the one that would have been on it previously. still no luck.

I just got it to work. I ended up going through control panel and installing driver via old driver. Then it suddenly was working. updated to newest driver and then it was working... I don't feel any actual science behind this but it seems to be working at least.
