Network adapter problem

Hello

I have an asus M4A78LT-M LE motherboard.Recently i lost net connectivity.It said network adapter missing.I re-installed my windows and all its drivers but still it isn't getting connected.i tried from bios, it didn't work.I looked up in asus website and downloaded new drivers.That also didn't help.There isn't a network adapter tab in the device manager itself and no yellow indicators in other devices tab.Please help.

is it a pci card? if so, try removing and then putting it back
in device manager, on the second top row, you could find a button called "scan for hardware changes"; click that

No it's not a card.

are you using lan or wifi?
because i don't think the board comes with an integrated network adapter for the wifi to work
