A D-Link router connects the network to the PC, but the cable that connects the network to the router is much shorter, which results in loose connections. Are there any ways we can extend cable wire by foot or so?

Solution
Realistically the cheapest options is to buy a new cable. Be very careful about fake cable. Buy pure copper cable (no cca) with wire size 22-24 (no flat or thin cables). You only really need cat5e or cat6 if you can find it cheaper.

You can't actually make the cable longer. You could buy a rj45 coupler and second short cable and use this to make a longer one. Problem is this will likely cost more than just buying a new cable. It might be a consideration if you have very long cables that cost a lot of money or it is a huge effort to rerun the cable. You are going to have to do the math but I suspect just buying the proper length cable is your best option.
