Hi,
I have an Axis 205 network camera which is supposed to deliver 30
frames per second in all resolutions. However when I view the image in
my browser locally (not via. the Internet), it's refreshing only once
or twice per second. Any ideas why there's such a difference and how I
could improve the frame rate?

fwiw;
There's a bunch of network cams here from various manufactures but not a
single one of your species. All cams here will run 30 and more fps on
340x240 with High compression & ActiveX. Flip them to java and they slow
maybe 20%, flip to low compression they slow down considerably, flip them to
640x480 they slow down further to maybe around the 3 fps area.

Personally, 5 fps mostly has been my preferred settings but currently trying
to get used to 1 fps, which does seem a bit too slow.
