I have been using my computer for monitoring information while I am working.
Today I started my computer at the beginning of my shift, loaded the page I needed and then my computer shut down due to low battery. When I restarted my computer after I plugged it in I could no longer connect to the internet. I tried to access the internet from my phone using wifi, USB and Bluetooth to no avail, I connected directly to the router and it still could not connect to the internet. I haven’t installed anything new for months and I don’t go onto websites other than the one I use for monitoring my systems and YouTube periodically.
When I use ipconfig (run under administrator) it will either show up as there is nothing connected.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled my network adaptor drivers and have done the following
ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /registerdns
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
When running Windows network diagnostics it comes up with:
There might be a problem with the driver for the wifi adapter
Windows couldn’t automatically bind the up protocol stack to the network adaptor.
Nothing works so far.
To note: I am working remotely and do not have access to another computer. I do have an iPhone and it has internet connection through the wifi I would also like to be connected to.
