Hi
im having issues with my internet
Im always getting 'dns server not responding'
NO SOLUTION seems to work and ive even tried installing a network card but i got the error again

I can only fix it temporarily by resetting network adapters, waiting 5 mins and letting it restart my pc.
IT is starting to really annoy me now as i cant seem to go a day without 1 [watch you language] error

I ALSO USSE POWERLINE ADAPTERS but i cannot see how it could be them. When i tried a new network card, it took way longer for the first error than usual

So, you are receiving DNS information form you ISP's chosen or self provided DNS server. DId you check if your PC was using and resolving ipv6 addresses? I ask becasue AAAA records get resolved before A records (ipv4) and that may help alleviate an issue. You can configure your PC with a static public dns server google's is pretty decent and one I would recommend their addresses are 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 for IPv4, and 2001:4860:4860::8888 and 2001:4860:4860::8844 for ipv6. though if you still notice the issue and you notice after doing an ipconfig /all after a few days your dns is back to what it was your isp might be preventing you from using public dns servers. it also may be worth a try giving them a a call and mentioning the issue you...

ive tried that and it doesnt work - i tried basically all of the online solutions that i could find

Okay so next thing to look at is the DNS itself. Are you still obtaining dns information automatically and from where. to tell me right click the network icon in the bottom right of your screen> open network and sharing center> ethernet> change adapter options> right click adapter> properties> internet protocol version 4> properties. I'd also like to know if you are receiving ipv6 addresses if so just a few boxes down below ipv4 there will be the ipv6 and it will have a check next to it. could also go into command prompt and nslookup abnd that will tell me who your dns provider is.

its just automatically find dns addresses
