Hello all!

I have been browsing all over for a solution to my problem, however i cannot seem to put my finger on it using various sources, so i cam here. Hopefully one of you can help me out!

No Networking Devices are shown in my Manager (or Other Devices)
No Connection to Internet on Network Set Up
When Trying to install the Realtek Driver - "The Realtek Network Controller was not found. If Deep Sleep Mode is enabled Please Plug the Cable"

I am using Windows 7. Component PC (Had an old friend put it together). Gigabyte Motherboard GA-Z77-HD3
Also,
- I am using an ethernet connection straight from the motherboard.
- The router i am using has wireless connection also, yet no wireless available from my PC.

Currently this is all that i can see, if i have missed something, or you need to know any other details to help me solve this, Please post below and i will try my best to find them!

Cheers, Chris...

Solution
First IPv6:

1) Navigate to the Network and Sharing Center
2) Select Change Adapter Settings
3) Right click your network name and select Properties
4) In the "This connection uses the following items" window look for a checkbox labeled "Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6).
5) Uncheck the box if checked and you know that you do not have (or use) IPv6 service.

In Device Manager is "View" set to "Show hidden devices"?

Are there any numbers/words i should block out to keep my network secure?
also i just purchased a usb dongle and can access it via wifi but still no Ethernet drivers will install

Host name if you wish and maybe the first 3 pairs of characters in the Physical Address.

What you do not want to show is your public IP which is the IP address given to you by your ISP.

ipconfig will reveal the private IP address range used within your network. But what "private" really means is one of the three sets of IP address ranges reserved for small network use within homes and businesses. Millions of home networks use one or more of those address ranges. Lots of information online if you wish to learn more about that. No offense taken if you chose to do so.

Also, just by way of comment, you can only have one network adapter enabled. Either wired or wireless not both. There is a sort of exception to that but very likely not relevant to your situation.

Also there is a possibility that your friend did not enable LAN in the BIOS settings. Watch carefully when you boot the computer and watch for the key (probably a function key) that must be pressed during boot up to access BIOS.

IP config is telling us that you are using an enabled Netgear USB wireless adapter, model N300.

The adapter is enabled and requests an IP from a router whose Defautl Gateway and DNS server have the IP address 10.0.0.138

The adapter is receiving an IP address and is currently using 10.0.0.13. Subnet mask 255.255.255.0.

Not noting anything astray at this time. Are you seeing the wireless adapter in Device Manager>Network adapters?

Side note: Do you know if your ISP provides IPv6 service? If IPv6 is not provided, you can go into the wireless adapter settings and uncheck the IPv6 protocol.

Yes i am seeing the adapter in Device manager/Network adapters. However, i am used to seeing the Ethernet Adapter until i purchased the wireless dongle. Which the driver was out of date and i was able to download the drivers from looking up the compatible IDS, which i would do for the Ethernet one however it is not there.

Also as far as checking for the IPv6, not quite sure i know where to find the selection.
