On our domain, active directory users are mapped to a personal network drive through the home folder option.
When logged on to the domain, they will have a drive like u:\personal\username.
Occasionally users with Windows XP will have this drive drop their username, leaving only u:\personal
which they cannot access.
What could be the reason Windows decides to drop the username on the mapped drive? Our domain server is 2003.
Also, restarting the machine seems to fix most instances of this happening.
