I have two routers home and from one the network keeps dropping, even we bought a new router the network keeps droping and from the main router the network doesnt drop, its just the secondary, it drops for a second then its up then drops again the back again for 20 seconds at most than its fine for like half an hour atleast it was like that last night, most of the time it drops at random times. Any help on how I can fix this problem? Thank you in advance!

Update your post to include make and model routers and how they are connected (i.e., LAN, WAN ports).

Are you certain that only one router is enabled to provide DHCP IP addresses?

How many other devices are on your home network? Any static IP addresses being used?

Details matter.

The main router is given by the internet company, “Telekom” and the secondary is “Zyxel” and its connected by a cable from the main to the secondary. How do i check if only one is enabled to provide DHCP ip adress, I cant login to the main router because we dont have the username and password, its not admin, admin, its custom made.
