network error in IP conflicts

I use the wireless adapter like wifi but my computer detects the same IP address with another computer. how will I resolve the issue? please help

You have to figure out WHY you are getting a conflict. Is your computer set to DHCP? Can you find the conflicting device? Is it set to DHCP ?

how will i find the device? and where is DHCP please help!

Does this happen EVERY time you power on or only sometimes? Google your OS and "DHCP" you will find instructions on how to verify your device is using DHCP.

What operating system are you using?

start-->type CMD-->press enter-->ipconfig /all

Look at your connection (wireless or ethernet, etc..) It will list DHCP enabled......yes or no

How many devices connect to your network? If it's a SOHO router at home, you may need to bounce your router, as it should be handling DHCP.
