I've tried all my browsers - Chrome, IE and Firefox and although it shows that I am connected to a network, it doesn't load successfully. All I did the day before was to scan my PC using mbam (premium trial) then quarantine+delete all PUPs. My other devices are not having this issue. I recall that the PUP I quarantined is somewhere in my chrome installation folder. It also mentioned trovi. To try resolving it, I uninstalled chrome and ran mbam. I also ran avast. None were detected but I still can't get the issue fixed. PLEASE HELP.

Solution
Go into whatever browser's options and see if any of them are using a proxy. If they are, untick the option

If you had pups, one of them may have added a proxy that goes nowhere
Paul NZ - Actually it is now working. I disabled and enabled LAN through Network Connections a couple of times. But I will do as you advised and get an adcleaner. THANK YOU SO MUCH :)
