Im running windows 10 pro, and recently i have been having trouble with internet dropping out frequently, maybe once an hour, but normally at random intervals. I've tried resetting my pc, and man other things like disabling firewall and scanning for viruses. If anyone could help me i would greatly appreciate it.

Try to reboot your router, and use other device/machine to test your connection...it maybe your router ...you may also like to update or make sure that correct network driver is installed

Is this a wired or wireless connection?

ive tested other machines, also using a cat5e cable, and that ran fine, my isp informs me it is a windows problem, and microsoft inform me its an isp issue, im currently using both wired (cat5e) and a wireless dongle i purchased because i thought my nic was dying

Ive reinstalled, rollback, and updated my lan drivers twice

Sounds like youre in a tough spot. What are your system specs? Could just be the NIC on your MB is failing too I suppose. Have you thought about getting a pci or pcie NIC to see if that fixes the issue? By the way, don't cha love it when companies point at each other when there is an issue?!

I got a wifi dongle to make sure it wasnt my nic breaking, and if it worked i was gonna get a pcie nic from intel, yeah dude they just keep pointing fingers.

Bug in the OS I'm guessing then. Hopefully an update will clear up your issue. Not sure what else to do. Hopefully someone else will chime in.

Last ditch attempt at a fix, try Hitman Pro. Its free the first use and although you scanned your system already, HMP is my favorite bug finder.

yes it is

Question: Is this A or B?
Answer: Yes.

Which is it?

hahaha sorry, i read your question wrong, i used an ethernet cat5e cable when this started happening, i then went and got a wireless dongle, and had the same problem again, so both. When i do ipconfig /release ipconfig /renew this fixes the problem untill it happens again which is about an hour or two.
