network not available

Wired connection. My office computer Windows 8 32-bit is running in safe mode. I was restarting computer. But net connection is not available - what should I do now?

My office computer is wired connection. When I opened computer (Windows 8 32-bit) I saw the mouse pointer is blinking constantly and one extra Icon (Hour glass) appeared along with it. I abolished hour glass. But I don't know from where & why the safe mode has come. Then I restart the computer. But net connection is not available. Now what should I do?

Did you try booting in "safe mode with networking" or just "safe mode"?
