Hi,

i was wondering if it is possible to connect an ethernet wire in a repeater and the repeater give wi fi, like a access point would for better performance.
Not connect to the wi fi from the router and repeat the signal.

Thanks.

Yes, but is it by any change possible? Its because a repeater seams to be more portable, and was just wondering/curious if that is possible by any change, if you know one that can that would be nice.

Thanks.

There is no manual available on the TP-Link page. I don't know if the specific unit you linked can be used as an access point. My guess is no.

Portability for an access point is not usually a requirement. Having a ethernet cable infrastructure to connect to is not usually available.

I just found out that the device I linked can actually be used as a AP, in the specifications it says "Wireless Modes Range Extender/Access Point", and found a video showing the configuration.

Thank you anyways.
