Question Network security key

Good afternoon, I recently rebuilt my grandfathers pc, I have the pc hardwired with an ethernet cable. It will not however allow it to connect to the internet, it keeps asking for a network security key. We do not have a network, and it has never asked for this before when connected directly to the router. Any idea how to fix it?

Do you have something configured on the router to require a password (security key)?
