Hello, everyone. I've searched high and low and couldn't find a proper solution to my problem. Thanks to this amazing forum I've gotten closer, but I still need some help. So I've had this problem for about a week. Basically, I'm using my wi-fi router as a network pass through for PC since it doesn't have a wi-fi module, so I have an Ethernet cable plugged into the router along with the router itself working as intended for phones, laptops and etc. Sometimes the internet just shuts off all of a sudden and in a minute or so it's back to normal. It happens a couple times a day up to every half an hour. I found on this forum that it maybe due to DHCP reservation error (https://forums.tomshardware.com/threads/internet-connection-drops-every-hour.2576824/), but that doesn't seem to be the case, since it was already set up for every day on my router. I've reset every little thing I could already and couldn't find a solution. I've saved the logs from when the problem appears, so hopefully someone can diagnose my problem:

"as a network pass through"

Can you help clarify your setup? From the ISP's modem/demark, tell us the data path of the internet to get to your computer. Be specific with models, function, and port numbers.

Thanks!

Well, we don't use modems here, or rather they are centralized into so called "communication boxes". A demarc would be the closest analogy. From that, an Ethernet cable goes into my router (Tenda N301) and another cable from one of the LAN ports on a router to PC.

Thanks for reply!

Yeah in the logs I see the PPPoE shutting down and reconnecting along with DHCP re-establishing from your ISP.. That is curious. It starting to sounds like an ISP issue. Lease is only good for 900 seconds also (15 minutes) which is also uncommon for an ISP.

Have we tried contacting them?

Well I tried avoiding it by all means, but if you say that it can be their issue, I guess I'll need to do that
