Network undefined (yellow triangle) Ethernet

Hello,

So simply I been reading alot of tomshardware threads about the ethernet not responding to internet.
Been fighting past two days on my own to fix this problem but so far it havent worked.
All started with my win10 instalation, when blue screen error came and I had to reinstall the PC once again, I reinstalled to win7, deleted everything from the PC I had previously.
Now I meet the problem, internet is not working, been trying to install drives, write command promt commands but still nothing, for fact I can see that cable is working on this PC because there is orange flashlight when plug it into my PERSONAL COMPUTER. Also when I plug my Huaweii router into laptop its working perfectly, so maybe its the driver problem? Been installing alot of drivers but still havent helped, maybe there is some kind of stages how many and which ones I have to download. Been downloading Broadband drivers, Ethernet drivers, updated BIOS driver, but still no luck. Ive an Asus motherboard P5KPL-1600 and an Huaweii router.

I feel like there could be a small thing I havent still done, but dont think so, because really two days i been fighting with this. Help plox!

Wifi on all other devices is working perfectly when router is on, I just have a particular problem with my PERSONAL COMPUTER.

got "device manager" right click on the network card with the yellow triangle. select uninstall, then reboot your computer and give it a moment to rediscover your network card, go back to "device manager" is the yellow triangle gone ?

with a fresh wipe of windows you need the intel chipset drivers first or the amd chipset drivers to get other devices to work right.

None of the solutions didnt work in my case sadly, firstly installed amd chipset, but then it didnt allow to install, so I did down asus chipsets and those worked, but still the yellow triangle + Local area connection doesnt have a valid Ip configuration when i try to troubleshoot the problem.

Or maybe there is like some order I should install the drivers in? Like BIOS come first, Chipset 2nd and so on?

It does not look like your standard driver problem. Many times the ethernet is not even visible except maybe in the device manager.

In this case it looks more like it is active but not getting a IP address.

I would see what happens if you assign the IPv4 ip addresses and gateway manually. If it is dhcp issue it will work. Maybe not the issue but is easy to try.

There are linux images that you can boot and run off a USB stick. Most builds include drivers for the more common ethernet chipsets. It will not touch your win10 install or write to the hard drive.....it can access files if you really want.

This should show if it is purely a issue with win10 install. It can rule out bios or hardware issues.

Nothing worked so far, desperate to bring the PC to some kind of Fixing shop, and hope they can resolve this, but if anyone have anything in their minds that was not mentioned before feel free, maybe it works.

If it does not work when you boot a linux image there is a very good chance the ethernet controller on the motherboard is bad. It is going to be cheaper to try a add in ethernet card than to pay a repair shop.
