OK this is my setup Netgear SRX3205, 3 puters hard wired. One puter has a Linksys SE1500 switch. One port is connected to puter, one is connected to canon MF4270 networked puter. Worked great when setting up. All puters see and can use printer.
After a few days the computers loose the ability to print and machine connected to switch looses connectivity. Linksys tells me this should work and the switch is defective. I dont believe them.
What I really wanted to do was add a PCI ethernet card in the computer and use that for the printer. But for some reason I couldnt get that working correctly.
Using dhcp on the lan. All puters are win7x64. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.
