Hello -

My friend recently upgraded his g4560 pc to an R5 1600x and it has been working perfectly until now.

However he cannot get his pc to connect to a network despite every device in his house working. He has taken all the steps here:

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/10741/windows-10-fix-network-connection-issues

Anything else he could try?

It may be a Ryzen or motherboard glitch - I know the platform still has its quirks here and there.

Specs:
R5 1600x
Asus Strix b350-f
Gigabyte 1060 3gb
WD green 500gb hdd
Corsair force mp500 m.2

I'll tell him to try that - thanks

Ok. Not a problem. The quote above made me think he hadn't done that. That said, if I remember correctly, it does seem when I first did my Ryzen 5 build, that I had to use the cd that came with my board to load the network driver before it would work properly. I would do that, or attempt to hook up using a usb wifi adapter and download the driver, or see if you can get onto the manufacturer's site from another system, download the driver and put it on a usb drive.
