Hello, so lately I've been having problems with my network and would really appreciate help.
So I have come to the conclusion that it's the interaction between my computer and the router.
When I test my speed on my phone (Wireless) I get 10 up and 10 down but when
I test it on my computer that is (cabled) I get 6 up and 4 down.
I have tried having the modem connect straight to my computer and then it's fine but if there is the
router in the middle then it slows down my internet speed. I believe it has something to do with my firewall but I'm not sure
so if someone could help that would be great!

Notes
- Router has been changed - TP LINK Model No. TL-WR1043ND
- Cables changed
- No one is on the internet but me.
- Checked for double NAT not an issue
- QoS is disabled.
- All firewalls have been disabled
- The setup is antenna -> Router - > Computer
- The antenna part might sound weird but it's becuase I don't have cables going
to my house.
- I have tried to do without the router and then it works fine

Thank you in advance for trying to help!

It doesn't seem that it could be a firewall issue since you've already disabled them with no results.

Have you tried updating the router firmware and the driver for your PC's Ethernet adapter? Have you tried using a different computer on the same connection? When you changed the router, was it for a different model?
