Networking only 1/2 way

Ok im tryig to share my DSL connection over my network.... I have a netgear rt314 router that hooks up 2 pc's that are on 98, and my new one on 2k..... my new one gets the internet connection fine, but i cant see the other computers on the network. nor can i see my 2k system on the entwork from other computers..... is there something im missing here?

if you set up win2k to be on a domain, it won't see the other two. Try setting it up as a workgroup.

Also, see if you can ping the ip's of the other two computers from win2k. If you can, then you can just type \\111.11.1.11 (or whatever) to connect to ther machine

it wasnt like that, and that didnt work, for some reason, i just went into network settings, and installed all the services. now it works
