So I have a new build. Asrock z87 extreme4 mobo. Was originally getting a 55 code which related to memory. Got different memory and 55 code is now gone. Now it gives me A2 code which says sata/ide problem. unplug all the sata and now I have a 99 code which says Video Card. Could I possibly have this many issues or is it a bad MOBO?

I was able to install everything but now I am getting a black screen on boot that says need to select drive or whatever to boot from. I believe that may just be a setting. When i go into the bios it is listing all my drives. With the video card removed it seems to work fine aside for that small boot issue.

You may need to set your boot priority. There are likely two places to check. One sets the boot priority to the type of device, e.g. Hard Drive. The second, within the category of Hard Drives, sets their priority; choose the one on which Windows is installed.
