Then what do I do

at mininum your looking for a 1060 6gb at least its drivers will be supported.

look for used.

also realisticly even in that scenario 1080p some games at around medium settings 60 fps

the lowest even though support is gone for these cards is a rx 480 8gb.

a psu i would at least go 650w never go cheap on the psu either as that will lead to a house fire or worse this is as cheap as id go.

i will it will take about half a hour i have to think of this and try to pull it closer to somewhat upgradable

realisticly your aiming at 300-ish ish if i can squeeze it and thats with some cutting it wont do 1080p everything but it will do most of them.

What are the full specs on your current pc? An i7 6700 isnt much better than a 4th gen i7 or xeon, which you may be able to upgrade to. What motherboard are you using, how much ram do you have, what power supply do you have, and can you post a picture of your current setup?

Sometimes a cardboard box is a luxury

In your initial post you've said this;

In all honesty, you're wasting your time thinking of making a case with a cardboard box...or having someone make it for you. Breadboard your parts if you can't purchase a case to house your parts into.

@phenom pumpkin

Do not build a cardboard case.

Very likely that it will catch fire.

Go to thrift stores. Likely you will find an old computer with a good case for just a few dollars.

Or ask around. More than likely that someone, somewhere will happen to have an old broken, unusable PC that they have been meaning to get rid of. Get it and use the case.

No cardboard.
