I just replaced my 1080 with a 2080 today, the 1080 never crashed and ran fabulously but I was looking for a better card for 4k gaming.

So I install the new 2080, clean install the drivers, and jump into MSI afterburner and stress test it... It black screens after a few minutes, though still plays audio.

Its crashed between 3 and 15 minutes, with temps ranging from 68 to 75 C.

I've replaced the GPU power cable on my corsair RM850X PSU, reseated it, and updated my MOBO bios.

Any help would be appreciated.

Solution
I found a work around solution. I limited the power to 90% in afterburner, and still managed a stable +1300mhz memory clock and a +100mhz on the core. It is kinda weird how it black screens at stock speeds at 100% power though, but the work around works for me.
