new 24 inch monitor suggestions?

Hey guys, I'm currently using a ASUS Asus VS247H-P 23.6 and a really old 2006 17" syncmaster. I'm thinking about getting a new 24inch monitor to replace the 17 inch monitor, I was considering this BenQ RL2455HM monitor but some people say it's way too overhyped and the build quality is not great. Does anyone have suggestions. I'm a programmer, so I will be using it to code and at time play games. I was thinking about getting a Dell UltraSharp but wasn't sure if it was worth it, since it's from Dell.

Both the BenQ and Dell are great. I think for this it's just personal opinion.

Dell UltraSharp U2412M is amazing, I and several other people who I know (one of them professional digital graphics artist) have it and I can recommend it.

Dell actually makes some of the best monitors on the market. Say what you will about their other products, but they are hands down one of the top options in monitors, and the UltraSharps are pretty widely regarded for a reason.

How is Dell UltraSharp U2414H compared to the Dell UltraSharp U2412M I was thinking about getting the Dell UltraSharp U2414H but a lot of people are having problems with the touch screen and display ports.
