1)O11 Dynamic + NH-D15 + Crucial Ballistix.
Depending on how you look at it:
A)Crucial Ballistix is too tall; 39mm. NH-D15's front fan will need to be removed. NH-D15 height without moving the front fan is 165mm - there is only clearance for 31mm tall ram sticks.
The specs say 32mm, but it is not ideal to have the fan touching the ram, so there should be a 1mm gap between them.

B)O11 Dynamic doesn't have enough clearance(167mm) to raise the NH-D15's front fan.
C)NH-D15 lacks memory clearance. NH-D15 height without moving the front fan is 165mm - there is only clearance for 31mm tall ram sticks.
The specs say 32mm, but it is not ideal to have the fan touching the ram, so there should be a 1mm gap between them.

Alternative 1: NH-U14S, Deepcool AS500, Thermalright True Spirit Direct, or Macho Rev C.
Apparently, the single tower coolers are more efficient on the Ryzen cpus over the dual towers; power efficiency is so good that these cpus can't 'soak the D15.

Alternative 2: A different chassis that has more room to house your considered components? Lian Li's own Lancool II Mesh?
That's probably asking for too much...

Alternative 3: Low profile ram, such as Corsair Vengeance LPX, Crucial's Ballistix Sport LT, or G. Skill's Aegis.

2)Samsung 980 Pro.
Keep an eye on the temperatures. The heatsink included with the Dark Hero board may not be enough for it, and may require you to look at aftermarket M.2 cooling solutions.
The slot above the gpu is usually the worst location for them.

Alternative: None really, except stepping down to a Gen 3 NVMe or SATA SSD, both of which are much easier to manage thermally.

3)The low profile 120mm fans.
These are 15mm thick instead of the standard 25mm. The caveat is that they're weaker and louder all around compared to the standard size. Their purpose is for scenarios where clearance is tight, which doesn't really exist here.
Also, 140 > 120mm. Your ears will appreciate them more.

Alternative:
Top: 2 NF-A14(Chromax black, if you prefer), or Arctic P14
Bottom: 2 NF-A14, or P14
Unfortunately, the side and rear only allow 120mm - 3 and 1 respectively - a small compromise, I suppose.

That's my 2 cents. Others may suggest or ask about other things.

Thanks for the advice I really like the fan solution you found. I will make sure to use that. For the 980 pro 2TB I would really prefer to keep that in my build as I need to send large files quickly and I want to play very demanding games. I think I’m going to keep the D15 and change my ram from the Crucial Ballistix 3600mhz c16 2x16GB to the Corsair LPX 3600mhz c16 4x8GB. (I’m so sorry I accidentally wrote mid tower it is actually a Lian li o11 XL)

Unless you are moving files across multiple NVMes, the speed advantage they have over even SATA3 flies out the window.
That's a hefty premium to pay for the Gen 4 NVMe, IF it turns out that a Gen 3 NVMe - or even a SATA3, for that matter - would've served your purposes greatly, and you could've saved money, or possibly spent it in another area of the build.

Unless you have other NVMes on hand that you're carrying over from another build... it doesn't look like you'll benefit all that much from this particular drive.

Sticking to one post helps more and yes your still wasting a bunch of money of the motherboard.

Save your self good $550.

That ASUS TUF GAMING PRO board will most probably come with latest BIOS out of the box and support the 5000 series CPU with no issues. But even if it doesn't the board comes with BIOS Flashback option. That got you covered. No need to spend high on that Motherboard.

Saved on PSU as well and it will be under less load and be less stressed over time. Which is good.

That Fractal Design Meshify 2 is really good case and is really quiet with good airflow. This gives you overall a very quiet build. That case comes with 3 x 140mm Fans already fitted in it and I included extra 2 Fans which you can install at the Top for extra airflow.

You can spend that saved money towards Monitor to get something like 48" C1 if there is enough space to accommodate it. Or save it and spend that on other peripherals.

I really like the case, motherboard and SSD you have for my build! I was worried about the SSD temperatures the heat sink with do so much cooling wise! I really like noctua fans so I think I’m just going to give the fans that come the case to my friend! Thanks once again.

Do NOT get a founders edition 3090, the hotspot temperature is very high and will get worse over time. A Noctua NH-D15S leaves enough room for most tall RAM.

Btw I don’t really understand fan technology. I understand what makes a fan good but I am clueless of where I should put them which way or anything like that. Where would you recommend me put my fans for intake and outtake?
