New 7700k seems slow on test... ?

Hi all. just joined the thread and happy to be here. I was hoping for some insight on a problem im having with my new build. just put together a new pc, 7700k, prim 270a, gtx 1080, vengence 3200/16gb ram, and running a corsair h100 cooler. just ran the passmark test and only got a 4088 score? wtf? thats like a qrt of what i should be getting right? im clueless on what i need to fix or change. havnt messed with bios settings other than bumping up to 4.7 and 1.30v. highest temps i got druing test was 79. HELP

Is this a fresh installation of Windows?
Are you sure your RAM is running at 3200, you need to activate XMP in the BIOS.
Have you installed all motherboard drivers?
Are you running the latest BIOS version?

I am not familiar with Passmark, but I think it tests the entire system, including the graphics card.
Could it be that you have V-Sync enabled and this limits your graphics score?

I know this is one of the most common mistakes people make when running graphics benchmarks, so just throwing that out there.
