New 860k W/cooler

I was going through newer today and i saw an '860k w/AMD New Silent thermal solution (wraith?)' for 105 CAD$.

Could you Overclock the 860k using the new stock thermal solution?? if it was oc'd to 4.4ghz would it bottleneck a GTX 960? Im considering buying this processor and a GTX 960 now (instead of waiting till polaris) since they are cheap and awesome.

What do you guys think?

well depending on what games it will be a pretty good match, if your waiting for next gen id recommend a GTX 950 (as long as their not $10 cheaper like here in AUS) if its a CPU demanding game like GTAV it will run but not close to 60fps like an i5 and 960 could do. you should be able to overclock it pretty far if you have a good mobo and get a good chip. what games are you looking at playing?

War thunder, Fallout 4 , CS:GO, Division (love it!!!), BF4 and hopefully bf5

I don't play many AAA titles. I do however want the ability to decently run them if i ever choose to indulge into a AAA title.

Idc about settings as long as its 1080p and above 30 fps

the division will be your biggest bottleneck, my 4690K @ 4.4Ghz can get choked in that game, you will have to fiddle around with settings but with a decent OC you should be able to achieve a decent framerate
