new acer aspire e15 i5 gaming issue

I just bought a new acer aspire e15 ES-575G for a little bit of gaming and for school but im pretty confused and bummed out because the laptop runs CS:GO super laggy and im not quite sure why. I did alot of research before the purchase and read a ton of reviews on how this is a perfect simple low budget laptop to run games yet I cant figure out why its so slow. Before downloading steam I made some adjustments to delete bloatware that came with windows 10 and also downloaded avira and malwarebytes, any advice or suggestions?
